The aim of this workshop is to provide in-depth knowledge of various aspects of operation and maintenance strategies being adopted in a typical industrial plant. He has more than 30 publications to his credit in international journals and conferences. He has conducted several workshops related to O & M of industrial plants, industrial instrumentation and applied robotics and machine vision. Abbasi is working as Head of Masters in Nuclear Power Engineering Program. After completion of his PhD, he joined the training institute of the same organization.
He has worked at Karachi Nuclear Power Plant for more than 7 years as Shift Operation Engineer before proceeding to his PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. Abdul Rehman Abbasi has more than 20 years of experience both in industry and academia.
